Why is it important to be a registered member of a parish?

Many people feel the only reason to register with a parish is to receive envelopes. This is not true; in fact when registering, you will state whether you want or do not want envelopes. When you register with the parish, it is your way of saying that you are committed to your Catholic faith, that you have been Baptized and Confirmed in it; and are part of a the St. Bonaventure faith community. In addition, by registering you will be able to receive communications from our parish through mailing and/or personal contact.

Finally, we'd like to call attention to the many ministry opportunities available in our parish. Please consider sharing your time and talents for the benefit of everyone--it's one of the special ways in which we can deepen our relationship with God.
