Sister_Parish

For the last few years, we have attempted to make a connection with San Augustin Parish in Guatemala as a sister parish. After much discussion and prayer, we have changed our approach from a sister parish to an international outreach. Our difficulties are language and communication. We will continue to support San Augustin through our Birthday Cake Project, which continues to be very successful. Through this effort, we are able to send Fr. Mario at least $100 a month.

We have a sister parish connection with St. Luke's Mission of Mercy in Buffalo. Some of our Religious Education students have already made an Immersion Trip there and have returned deeply moved by the work that is done there by missionary volunteers. If anyone is interested in being part of a committee that would work at finding practical ways to make this "twinning" process work, please contact Fr. Richard Husted at 373-1330.
